  This hospital needs an overhaul real bad. OMG it's so rundown. Just walk in the hospital grounds, rotting timber, spiderwebs on cracked windows, etc. Then the elevator sooo old and dirty, and the ceiling missing a tile piece. Very sad state. Cmon! This place needs funding urgently. Anyway, so I go to my first prostate appointment, and they tell me that my appointment was cancelled and that they tried calling my number and left a voicemail - no such thing occurred. Anyway, with a bit of fuss, they decide to see me as it was fairly quiet in the waiting bay. Then I get called in to the doctor's room, but the doctor is on the phone talking about another patient. After 6 minutes he decides to see me. He asks me what my PSA level is and I hand him about 8 pages of previous blood test results, ultrasound, scans, etc. He just flicks through until he finds the PSA reading and hands me the paperwork back. Why was I asked to collect all those tests when the specialist doesn't care to review those? I don't know.

  Good hospital. My son had minor surgery here and some of the nurses who tended to him were so helpfull and caring. The doctor's are great! Will explain everything happening thoroughly. Good experience here. Just needs more areas to buy food from.

  Doctors and nurses are nice, but that kind service is negated by the unbelievable wait times. What is the point of making an appointment, being told to arrive early and check in if you're waiting over an hour and a half to be seen. Over 30 rooms in their specialist floor and I'm still waiting. How?

  Mr Andrew Gong and Dr Mina Gurguis are amazing surgeons who did a fabulous job of my hip replacement. Nursing, anaesthetics, physio, and hospital support teams were all brilliant and gave me the best care. Our public health system may have it's faults but in my opinion it's pretty damn good and I am eternally grateful. We live in the lucky country that's for sure.
